Since I was young I have always built things, anything I could get my hands on. The trouble was, many of the materials and tools that I had at my disposal broke easily and did not lend themselves to being used outside of the manufacturer’s intention. When it came time to graduate high school, I began looking into options involving making things the way they should be made, with durability, functionality, and with humans a t the core of their design. I found the American college of the Building Arts and entered into the Architectural Ironwork program, learning to hand forge and finish metal work using 18th c. tools and processes.
Today my goal is to provide people with tools, hardware, furniture & furnishings that are a joy to look at, use, and will work as well as someone can ask, not just now, but through heavy use into the far future.
