Frequently Asked Questions

Your parking lot depends on where you’re volunteering:
• Yellow Lot: Old Mill Shop, Dried Flower Barn
• Green Lot: Village Center, Art at the Red Barn, Second Street School, Homes Tour
• Red Lot: All other volunteer areas
Yes. ADA parking is available near the ticket gates. Let the parking attendants know when you arrive.
A Fair map is available on the website and in the Fair booklet. We recommend reviewing it before you arrive.
Check in at any ticket gate before going to your volunteer area. If you arrive before the gates open, check in directly with your Volunteer Lead.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. Please avoid flip-flops, political apparel, and clothing with inappropriate graphics. Some volunteer roles may have additional dress requirements.
Absolutely. Bring water and snacks if you’d like. Food vendors are also available throughout the Fair.
Follow directions from your Volunteer Lead, Foundation staff, or emergency personnel. If instructed, seek shelter until it’s safe to return.

Yes! If you’d like to volunteer together, sign up for the same shift whenever possible. If you need assistance coordinating your assignments, please contact the Waterford Foundation office.
